Electronics Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect elec­tro­nic sys­tems for defects, dama­ge and faul­ty connections
• Per­form func­tio­nal and ope­ra­tio­nal test of instru­ments and com­po­nents as required
• Test elec­tro­nic equ­ip­ment under simu­la­ted or actu­al ope­ra­ting con­di­tions to deter­mi­ne per­for­man­ce and ope­ra­tio­nal readi­ness, using test equ­ip­ment, oscil­lo­sco­pes, digi­tal meters,
  coun­ters and cir­cu­it analyzers
• Adjust, repa­ir, or repla­ce defec­ti­ve com­po­nents based on ana­ly­sis of test results, fol­lo­wing blu­eprints, sche­ma­tics, and Tech­ni­cal Orders
• Adjust and/or align instal­led or repa­ired equ­ip­ment to meet or exce­ed pre­scri­bed specifications.
• Record Testing, Repa­ir and War­ran­ty data on paper­work for elec­tro­nic equ­ip­ment tested, repa­ired, or calibrated
• Fle­xi­bi­li­ty to work with peers across mul­ti­ple time zones

Skills and Experience required:

• Expe­rien­ce in sol­de­ring with both leaded and lead-free equipment
• Expe­rien­ce in adju­sting, repa­iring or repla­cing defec­ti­ve com­po­nents based on ana­ly­sis of test results whi­le fol­lo­wing blu­eprints, sche­ma­tics and/or Tech­ni­cal Orders
• Expe­rien­ce in cor­ro­sion con­trol pro­ce­du­res, iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and treatment
• Expe­rien­ce in test and measu­ring equ­ip­ment such as digi­tal mul­ti-meters, oscil­lo­sco­pes, signal gene­ra­tors, fre­qu­en­cy coun­ters, and spec­trum analyzers
• Must have time mana­ge­ment skills and the abi­li­ty to balan­ce mul­ti­ple assi­gn­ments and deadli­nes in a fast-paced envi­ron­ment, abi­li­ty to work witho­ut direct super­vi­sion, a self-
  star­ter to learn when the pace slows down
• Very strong atten­tion to details
• Enthu­siasm, pas­sion for team wor­king and a ‘can do’ attitude
